A creamy, effortless slow cooker dish using chicken, ranch seasoning, and a few pantry staples. Ideal for busy nights.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil (optional for searing)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Optional: Sear chicken breasts in olive oil, 2–3 minutes per side.
2. In crockpot, mix cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
3. Add chicken breasts and coat with sauce.
4. Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
5. Shred chicken with forks and stir into sauce.
6. Stir in sour cream for creaminess.
7. Garnish with cheddar cheese and parsley before serving.
Notes
• Use frozen chicken if needed — add 1 hour to cook time.
• Swap sour cream with cream cheese for a richer flavor.
• Add peas, carrots, or potatoes for a complete meal.
• Mix in cayenne or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
• Turn into a casserole by topping with breadcrumbs and cheese, then bake.
