Description
Crunchy, lightly salted pumpkin seeds made in the air fryer. A quick, healthy snack that’s perfect for fall or anytime you crave something crispy.
Ingredients
1 cup pumpkin seeds, cleaned
1.5 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt (Lawry’s recommended, adjust for taste)
Instructions
1. Scoop out and rinse pumpkin seeds thoroughly, removing pulp. Pat them dry completely.
2. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F for 4 minutes.
3. In a bowl, toss seeds with melted butter or olive oil and seasoned salt until well coated.
4. Spread seeds in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Add extra salt if desired.
5. Air fry at 360°F for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
6. Taste and sprinkle with more salt if needed before serving.
Notes
Seeds must be completely dry before cooking for maximum crispiness.
Shake the basket halfway through cooking for even browning.
You can substitute butter with olive oil.
Try different seasonings such as garlic powder, chili powder, or cinnamon sugar.
Store cooled seeds in an airtight container, but they taste best fresh.
