Ingredients
1 lb kielbasa, sliced into rounds
12 oz penne pasta
3 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional herbs such as parsley or Italian seasoning
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add sliced kielbasa and brown on both sides.
3. Stir in pasta and chicken broth, making sure pasta is submerged.
4. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to simmer until pasta is tender, about 10 minutes.
5. Lower heat, add heavy cream and shredded cheddar, stirring until cheese melts and sauce thickens.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve hot and enjoy.
