Description

Sweet Air Fryer Churro Bites are crisp, golden, and packed with cinnamon-sugar joy. Made with simple pantry staples, they’re perfect for breakfast, dessert, or sharing anytime you crave something cozy and sweet.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup plain flour

1 cup water

1/3 cup and 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

1 large egg

1 cup white sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon powder

Instructions

1. Combine water, butter, salt, and sugar in a pan and bring to a boil.

2. Lower heat and stir in flour until smooth dough forms. Remove from heat.

3. Let dough cool 4–5 minutes, then mix in egg and vanilla using an electric mixer.

4. Transfer dough to a piping bag.

5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C); spray basket with nonstick spray.

6. Pipe bite-sized churros into the basket, spacing them out.

7. Lightly brush churros with butter and air fry for 10–12 minutes until golden.

8. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.

9. Toss warm churros in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.

10. Serve warm with dips like chocolate sauce, Nutella, or dulce de leche.

Notes

Use all-purpose flour for classic churro texture.

Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for even crisping.

Toss churros in sugar while they’re still warm to help coating stick.

Make the dough ahead and refrigerate up to 24 hours.

Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for 1–2 minutes to refresh.
