Description
These Halloween Brookies are a festive mash-up of fudgy brownies, ghost-shaped sugar cookies, and colorful Halloween M&M’s. They’re easy to make with store-bought shortcuts, perfect for parties, bake sales, or fun family nights in October.
Ingredients
1 box store-bought brownie mix
Ingredients required to prepare the brownie mix
¼ cup Halloween M&M’s (plus more for topping)
1 package Pillsbury ghost-shaped sugar cookie dough
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions, avoiding overmixing.
3. Stir ¼ cup of Halloween M&M’s into the batter.
4. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading evenly.
5. Place 15 pieces of cookie dough evenly spaced on top of the batter.
6. Bake for 28–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
7. After baking, add extra M&M’s on top if desired.
8. Let cool completely before slicing; use a plastic knife for cleaner cuts.
Notes
Adjust baking time as needed according to your specific brownie mix.
Cookies will still bake well even if brownies need extra time.
Plastic knives are ideal for slicing without tearing the brookies.
Best served fully cooled for firmer texture.
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
