Description
Tender bone-in pork chops and buttery potatoes slow-cooked with onions, garlic, and herbs in a savory broth for the ultimate comfort dinner.
Ingredients
4 bone-in pork chops
1 lb small potatoes, halved
1 onion, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Pat pork chops dry and season with salt, pepper, and thyme on both sides.
2. Place sliced onions and minced garlic at the bottom of the crock pot.
3. Arrange pork chops on top of the onion and garlic.
4. Scatter halved potatoes around and on top of the pork chops.
5. In a small bowl, mix chicken broth with Worcestershire sauce.
6. Pour the broth mixture evenly over the ingredients in the crock pot.
7. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
8. Serve hot, spooning broth over the pork and potatoes.
9. Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add carrots or celery.
Swap thyme with rosemary or sage for a different taste.
To make it creamy, stir in cream of mushroom soup before cooking.
