Ingredients
1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
4 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
Optional: chopped pecans or orange zest
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and prepare a mini muffin tin by greasing or lining it.
2. Mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
3. Cut each crescent roll triangle in half lengthwise to make 16 pieces.
4. Press each dough piece into the bottom and sides of a mini muffin cup.
5. Spoon 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into each dough cup.
6. Add 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top of the cream cheese.
7. Sprinkle optional toppings like chopped pecans or orange zest.
8. Bake for 11–13 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
9. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing and serving.
Notes
Cream cheese should be at room temperature for best texture.
Cranberry goes on top of cream cheese to prevent sogginess.
Avoid overfilling to maintain structure.
Cool slightly before eating as filling gets very hot.
Freeze unbaked bites, then bake directly from frozen with 2–3 extra minutes.
