Ingredients
1 cup sour cream (or substitute with Greek yogurt or mayonnaise)
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1.5 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
3 lbs boneless chicken breasts (trimmed of fat)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Lightly spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
3. In a medium bowl, mix sour cream, garlic powder, seasoned salt, pepper, and 1 cup Parmesan.
4. Place chicken breasts in baking dish, top with sour cream mixture.
5. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
6. Bake 25–30 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F inside.
7. Broil for 2–3 minutes to crisp and brown the top.
8. Let rest 5 minutes, then serve warm.
Notes
Use medium-thickness chicken breasts for even cooking.
Broiling at the end adds a golden cheesy crust.
Excess liquid in the pan is normal—drain if needed.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
To reheat, bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or microwave until warm.
Not ideal for freezing due to sour cream texture changes.
